The Bison Lodge
Bison Run Rentals partnered with Comstock Construction to build The Bison Lodge, a new six-unit townhome development in North Fargo near NDSU. The 7,920-square-foot project includes six 1,320-square-foot units, each with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, in-home laundry, front and back porches, and dedicated paved off-street parking.
Construction began in 2025 and was completed in time for August 2026 move-ins.
Design-Build Townhome Construction
Comstock delivered The Bison Lodge using the Design-Build method, coordinating the design and construction process under one team. Working with RHET Architecture, the project moved from planning through construction with the design, budget and schedule closely aligned.
A dedicated Comstock Project Manager and onsite Superintendent managed day-to-day construction, coordinated subcontractors and material deliveries, and helped keep the project moving through each phase.
Wood-Framed Multifamily Construction
The six-plex was built using wood-frame construction, with each townhome centered around an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area. Large windows bring natural light into the main living spaces, while the four-bedroom, three-bathroom layouts provide plenty of room for multiple residents.
Each unit also includes stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, plank flooring and a gas fireplace. Scandinavian-inspired finishes, clean lines and durable materials give the interiors a modern look designed to hold up well over time.
Self-Performed Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry & Interior Construction
Comstock self-performed several key interior scopes, including finish carpentry, cabinetry and interior finish work. Our crews installed cabinets, doors, trim, shiplap, finish hardware, building numbers, mailboxes, toilet accessories and wood trim around mirrors.
Self-performing these details gave our team greater control over quality and consistency throughout all six units while helping carry the finished design through each space.
The completed Bison Lodge brings together coordinated Design-Build construction, durable materials and detailed interior craftsmanship in a modern multifamily development near the NDSU campus.
