Comstock Construction Aberdeen Office Remodel
When we opened our Aberdeen, South Dakota branch, we wanted the office to feel like more than just a place to work. It needed to function well for our growing team, provide a comfortable place to meet with clients and partners, and feel like Comstock from the moment you walked through the door.
Project Highlights
Rather than starting from scratch, we remodeled the existing space to better fit the way our Aberdeen team works. The new layout includes:
- 2,301 SF commercial office remodel
- 5 private offices
- 2 bathrooms
- Conference room with two floor-to-ceiling glass walls
- Breakroom with kitchenette
- Reception, waiting and storage areas
We reworked the existing layout to make better use of the space, including adding a second bathroom, remodeling the existing bathroom and adding windows to each office.
An Office That Feels Like Comstock
The conference room became one of the main features of the remodel, with two floor-to-ceiling glass walls that keep the space open and bright. Inside, a vinyl decal accent wall and walnut wood paneling with integrated acoustic panels add warmth while helping control sound.
Throughout the rest of the office, furnishings and touches of Comstock green and gold tie the space back to our brand making it feel classic and timeless.
Self-Performed Commercial Remodel
Our team managed the renovation from concept through completion and self-performed:

- Finish Carpentry
Taking on much of the construction ourselves gave our team the opportunity to approach our own office the same way we do our clients’ projects—making practical decisions, working through the details and building the space around the people who will use it.
The finished office gives our Aberdeen team a true home base in the community, with additional office space to accommodate future growth and dedicated meeting space to welcome clients and sit down together to talk through their own upcoming projects.
