Project Description

Comstock Construction Completes Earthwork at Rivers Edge Second Addition

In the heart of Horace, a transformative project took place that breathed new life into an old plot of ground, turning a vacant field into a thriving community development called Rivers Edge Second Addition that will house over 100 new home lots. Comstock Construction, serving as civil construction subcontractor to Dakota Underground, was at the forefront of this endeavor that was designed by the experts at Moore Engineering, dedicated to making a positive impact on the quickly growing community of Horace, ND.

Civil Construction Scope of Work

Topsoil Stripping

Our journey on this project began with the careful and precise topsoil stripping, a meticulous process that allowed us to clear the land while preserving its natural beauty. We then embarked on the task of pond excavation, reshaping the landscape to accommodate not just homes but a serene and picturesque pond that will add to the charm of this new residential development.

Site Grading

As we advanced through the project, our crews began site grading, ensuring that every inch of this community was built with precision and care. Guaranteeing a strong foundation for the future home sites.

Topsoil Spreading

To complete the canvas, Comstock Construction undertook the task of topsoil spreading, enriching the land with the nutrients it needed to foster lush green lawns, vibrant gardens, and inviting outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy.

We were not just building foundations; we were nurturing a sense of belonging, a place where lives would be lived to the fullest. The City of Horace project was not just a construction endeavor; it was a symbol of our dedication to our local communities. We didn’t just move dirt, we paved the way for strong homes to be built that will last for generations to come. Where dreams of forever homes take shape and memories are made.
